Full of Memories…

After a bout of feeling down, I spent some time at my Grandma Roxie’s. This started out to be another sad song, but after sitting on the back porch listening to the birds sing and the wind whisper through the trees, after feeling the sunshine, after smelling the pine scented fresh air, after watching the blue bird and chipmunk make morning conversation with happy chatter, I decided that life was just too good for another sad song. After all that, I decided on this instead…

The past is full of memories, the future is full of time
The sunshine yesterday said tomorrow will be fine
I’ll dance through life ahead, and leave what’s gone behind…
Hold on to everything God’s given me that’s mine!

Forever stretched out before me, moments fading in the past
A stars count of precious days filled with things last
The sunset and snowflakes the rain along with the shine
The ocean the desert, the valleys, the mountains I’ve had to climb

Have made me who I am today, the treasures in my hands
The love, the joy the tears, my blessings outnumber the sand!
